Medill Pharma Private Limited ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by Anish Verma, is the developer and publisher of the Shine Android application (Package: com.shine.medillpharma), available on the Google Play Store. Shine is an internal employee management and field reporting tool built exclusively for employees and authorised users of Medill Pharma Private Limited.

This Privacy Policy governs your use of the Shine app and explains how Medill Pharma Private Limited collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal information of users who access the App via Google Play.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App and contact your HR representative.

• Date of birth, blood group, marital status
• Current and permanent address
• Profile photograph

b) Employment Information

• Employee code, department, designation, and role
• Date of joining, reporting manager
• Salary details and payslip records

c) Government-Issued Document Numbers

• PAN card number
• Aadhaar card number
• ESIC (Employee State Insurance) number
• PF (Provident Fund) number

d) Field Work & Activity Data

• Daily work entries including doctor visits, business entries, and call records
• Distance travelled (in kilometres) for expense reimbursement
• Expense claims (Daily Allowance, Travel Allowance, KM charges)

e) Leave Records

• Leave applications, leave types, and approval status

f) Device & Usage Information

• Device type, operating system version
• App usage logs for troubleshooting and audit purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used solely for legitimate business and employment purposes, including:

• Employee identity verification and account management
• Processing salary, expense reimbursements, and payslips
• Tracking field sales activity and doctor/client visits
• Managing leave requests and attendance records
• Generating performance and business reports for management
• Compliance with applicable labour and tax laws in India
• Internal HR and administrative operations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Your information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• Within the company: With authorised managers, HR personnel, and administrators who need access to perform their duties.

All data is stored on secure servers located in India. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including:

• Role-based access controls — employees can only access data relevant to their role
• Password hashing using industry-standard algorithms (BCrypt)
• Session-based authentication with automatic expiry
• Server-side audit logging

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your employment relationship with Medill Pharma continues, and thereafter for the period required by applicable Indian law (including tax and labour regulations). Upon cessation of employment, your account will be deactivated and data archived in accordance with statutory requirements.

As an employee and user of the App, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of data that is no longer required (subject to legal obligations)
• Raise concerns about how your data is being processed

The App is intended exclusively for use by employees of Medill Pharma Private Limited who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

The App may contain links to external websites or services (e.g., Google Maps for location reference). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
